Knowledge areas/Skills: Microsoft Excel & Outlook proficiency Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers Excellent planning and organizational skills Self-motivates, independent, flexible, organized, and methodical.
Regular interaction with customers and vendors via the telephone and emails is a must Principal Duties and Responsibilities: HS Tariff classifications using the Harmonized System and Explanatory notes to classify products and commodities Liaison with Steamship Lines, Air Carriers to establish shipment status Assist customers with customs processes in all modes of transport Communicate with CBSA officers regarding customs regulations and clearances.
